A New York restaurant has committed to limiting parents’ alcohol intake when they dine with their children and plan to drive home.

The general manager at Peddlers Bar & Bistro in Clifton Park, New York, said she fears for the safety of drunken adult drivers and the children who accompany those drivers, and she hopes to prevent unnecessary accidents.

A company is giving away free Marijuana for picking up trash. STFU.

Members of the community came together Saturday to pick up bags of trash in exchange for bags of marijuana.

Dennis Meehan, owner of Summit Medical Marijuana in Maine, got the idea from a shop in Colorado as well as the city’s own Day of Caring project.

“Bring us back the full trash bag, and we give them a gift of cannabis,” Dennis Meehan, owner of Summit Medical Marijuana, told WCSH.
Meehan shared a photo on social media of a trash bin overflowing with trash bags.
He hopes to organize a statewide neighborhood cleanup event with other dispensaries.

Driver of truck carrying immigrants charged after 10 killed suspected immigrant-smuggling attempt. And he’s from Clearwater.

Eight people were found dead in the broiling trailer, and one died later at an area hospital, according to The Associated Press. The U.S. Attorney’s Office told the San Antonio Express-News on Monday morning that a 10th person had died.

The news came as the big rig’s driver, James Mathew Bradley Jr. of Clearwater, Florida, faced his first federal court hearing in connection with the deadliest such human smuggling case in the U.S. in at least a decade.

Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park, has died. Suicide was the cause of death.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide … TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us the singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday just before 9 AM.

Chester was married with 6 children from 2 wives.

The singer struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He had said in the past he had considered committing suicide because he had been abused as a child by an older male.

HERNANDO, Fla. — A former music director at a Florida church has been charged with multiple child sex charges after a coworker trying to prank him stumbled upon more than 350,000 images of child pornography on the man’s laptop, police said.
Chad Everett Robison, 36, of Hernando, is charged with three counts of video voyeurism, three counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition and one count of promoting the sexual performance of a child, according to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
